"Crazy for You" is a song by American singer Madonna, written by John Bettis and Jon Lind, from the soundtrack album to the film Vision Quest (1985). It was released on March 2, 1985 by Geffen Records as the first single from the soundtrack. The song appears remixed on the greatest hits compilation The Immaculate Collection (1990) and was re-released on February 24, 1991 by Sire Records to promote the album. The song was also included on the ballads compilation Something to Remember (1995) and the greatest hits compilation Celebration (2009). Prince is now on YouTube S partans, wassup!  Looks like Prince's estate started uploading Prince's official video/music to YouTube two months ago.  Since Prince's Purple Rain was released in the summer of 1984, the album was one of the most popular during our senior year. We've got 146 members in our Hogan Spartans '85 Facebook group.  If I remember correctly, 352 of us graduated at Corbus Field on June 19, 1985.  But I remember hearing that there were 600+ of us in the 10th grade at Hogan.  So let's move the group here out on the web.  I know a few classmates don't want to get on Facebook.  They can find and join us here. S imple Minds' " Don't You (Forget About Me) " peaked at #1 on  Billboard's Hot 100  on May 18, 1985 , one month before our graduation on June 19, 1985 . It was the big hit from " The Breakfast Club ," a movie released on February 15, 1985 .  The movie and the song always touched a nerve with me since it was about teenagers, cliques, and stereotypes back when we were teenagers in cliques, talking about and some living the stereotypical life.  It was 1985, we were seniors and we were indestructible.  We were going to conquer the world! Fast forward to now.  We've had our 25th High School Reunion and are starting to think about our 30th reunion.  If you haven't watched the movie, I highly recommend it.  Keep your high school yearbook close by.
