Happy Birthday, Christine Solla & Arnel Pacanza — Spartan Pride Never Ages

Vallejo, CA • April 2026. Happy Birthday to Hogan High School Class of 1985 alumni Christine Solla and Arnel Pacanza — two Spartans who keep the Blue & White bond burning bright. Hogan High School, Class of 1985, Birthday, Vallejo California, Spartan Pride, 40th Reunion, alumni celebration.

Some bonds are forged in homerooms and hallways — and forty years later, they still hold. The Blue & White doesn't fade. It deepens. It shows up at Rellik Tavern on a Saturday night in Benicia, wraps an arm around your shoulder, and reminds you exactly who you are: a Hogan Spartan. Forever.

Two Spartans. One Celebration. A Legacy Built Together.

Look at that photo. Really look at it. Five Spartans standing shoulder to shoulder at Rellik Tavern — the same grin energy they had walking the halls of Hogan High back in '85. And front and center in that legacy? Christine Solla and Arnel Pacanza — two classmates who showed up, showed out, and remind us every year why the Class of 1985 hits different.

Today, we celebrate them both. A hybrid birthday post, because when two Spartans share a season of celebration, you honor them together — Blue & White, side by side, the way it's always been.

Christine Solla — Grace, Grit & Spartan Heart

Christine has always carried that quiet strength that Hogan's halls demanded — the kind that shows up not just at the big moments, but in the steady, faithful ones in between. From the Class of '85 to the 40th Reunion stage, she has been a constant: warm, grounded, and undeniably Spartan. Happy Birthday, Christine. The V is better because you're in it.

Arnel Pacanza — The Spirit That Never Clocks Out

If you've been around Arnel for five minutes, you know exactly what the Spartan spirit looks like in human form: infectious energy, genuine love for the crew, and a laugh that fills the room. The 40th Reunion was louder and brighter because Arnel was there — and that's just the truth. Happy Birthday, Arnel. Keep leading with that heart.

The Reunion That Proved It All

October 18, 2025. Rellik Tavern on 726 First St, Benicia. Forty years after we walked across that stage — and the Blue & White bond held like it was made of steel. That photo with Tony Magbitang, Joe Jang, and Glenn Pingol isn't just a memory. It's evidence. Evidence that the people we became started right there on the Hogan campus, and that some chapters in life never close — they just get richer.

To the entire Class of 1985: when you see Christine and Arnel, raise a glass. These are the kinds of classmates who make the legacy worth preserving.

Happy Birthday to you both. 🎂🔵⚪

Once a Spartan, Always a Spartan.
