Remembering Our Beautiful Friend — Dinna Santiago (July 6, 1967 – February 26, 2013) 🌹

Hello Hogan Spartans Class of 1985,

As we look forward to our milestone 40th Class Reunion, let’s take a moment to honor and remember one of our most vibrant and beloved classmates — Dinna Santiago, whose bright smile and kind heart touched so many of us.

Dinna was born on July 6, 1967, and she brought joy and light to every space she entered. Many of us remember her laughter on the school bus, her warm personality in the halls of Hogan High, and her unforgettable presence at our senior events — like the Senior Snow Trip, captured in the photo below from our senior yearbook.

I think we took two buses to our senior snow trip. Maybe 5 AM in front of Hogan at 850 Rosewood Ave, Vallejo, CA 94591, USA.

Sadly, Dinna passed away on February 26, 2013, but her memory continues to live on in the stories we share, the photos we treasure, and the friendships we continue to honor.

As we gather this year to celebrate 40 years since our graduation, let’s remember Dinna and all of our classmates who are no longer with us.

Throwback to Hogan '85's 10th Class Reunion 1995 October. Walnut Creek, CA. Back when our very own E40's "Sprinkle Me" hit #5 on Billboard's Hot Rap Songs. Earl Stevens (E40) joined us at that tenth reunion. Tony, Ron and I hung out in his suite... watching his video while it played on the TV. Good times! Tracy Waterman: I received your $30 fee. Go Hogan High School Class of 1985 Tania Ponder texted our GroupMe group chat this morning: "What is the status for the 40th class reunion?" Again, I'm no longer part of the 40th Class Reunion Committee actively 'planning' the event. I believe the committee is going forward with the event I did plan. A few months ago, Gloria texted me "What's the group consensus?" on how to text each (keep in touch) because she had problems with GroupMe. Here's my response that I shared with Ron Stainer a couple weeks ago: After our 20th class reunion in Walnut Creek and I decided to take it upon myself to do the 25th class reunion, I created our Yahoo Group (which no longer exists). After I learned about Facebook and joined in 2007, I created our Facebook Group . I created the first version of Hogan85 blog in 2009, but I lost access to my account which was work-related.
